June 18
Day 14: Hudson Ohio Rt 303 west to Wakeman, to Rt 20 west to Freemont Ohio, continue on Rt 20 west through Freemont to CR 106. Go right on 106 and up a mile. Camping at Wooded Acres Campground, 2232 CR 106, 419-665-2414. Mileage 97 miles.
June 19
Day 15: Freemont Ohio CR 106 to Rt 20/23 west into Perrysburg, cross river to jcn with Rt 25. L on 25 south to Monclova Rd. R on Monclova Rd past hospital to Trailhead on Monclova Rd. Wabash Cannonball trail all the way to Montpelier Ohio. Then get on Rt 107 west to Rt 49 north to jcn with Rt 20 west. Stop there at Jcn. Campground is east on Rt 20 to continue north on Rt 49 to CR R. R on CR R to a R on CR 4-75 to 151 Biscayne Blvd. Shady Shores Campground, 419-459-4502. Mileage 90 miles.
June 20
Day 16: Montpelier Ohio west on Rt 20 into Indiana, through Angola west to LaGrange. North on Rt 9 into Michigan where Rt 9 turns into Rt 66. Go north on 66 to Battle Creek Michigan. Stop in Battle Creek. Drive to BattleCreekMICampground is located L on Rt 89 to Collier Ave to campground quarter mile down the road. 269-962-1600. Mileage 92 miles.
June 21
Day 17: Battle Creek, Michigan Rt 66 north through Stanton to Rt 46 jcn. Go east on 46 into Edmore. Then go north, right on Wyman Rd, and then go a mile to jcn of Edgar Rd. Go half mile on Edgar to 2851 East Edgar Rd. Family Campground. Call 989-304-1852 or cstratton55@verizon.net Mileage is 84 miles.
June 22
Day 18: Edmore Michigan back out to Rt 66 north. Go through McBain and then up to the Rt 66 jcn with Rt 55 west. Go west on 55 to Cadillac. Camping at Lake Mitchell State Park. Mileage is 86 miles.
June 23
Day 19. Lake Mitchell State Park to Rt 115 north to Boone Rd, 34 rd east to jcn with Rt 131 north to Alba. In Alba get on CR 42 east and turns into Olds Rd. At jcn of Wildwood Dr, go right to Lakes of the North Campground, 3634 Wildwood Dr. Mileage 74 miles.
June 24
Day 20: Lakes of the North Campgrounds back to Rt 131 north to Rt 31 north to Mackinaw City Michigan. Plenty of camping up there. KOA and more. Mileage 85.5 miles.
June 25
Day 21. St Ignace Michigan on Rt 2 west to Manistique. Camp at Indain Lake State Park. Mileage 90 miles.
June 26
Day 22: Manistique Michigan Rt 2 west to Rt 41 north to Harvey Michigan on Lake Superior. Gitchee Gumee Campground in Harvey on SR 28. Mileage 93 miles.
June 27
Day 23: Harvey Michigan Rt 41/28 to Rt 28 west to Bruce Crossing. No campground available. May need to motel. Mileage 95 miles.
June 28
Day 24: Bruce Crossing on Rt 28 west to Rt 2 west towards Ironwood and continue on Rt 2 west into Wisconsin to Duluth for a motel. Mileage 80 miles.
June 29
Day 25: Duluth Minnesota. Continue Rt 2 west to into Grand Rapids and just past that is Pokegama Damtender campground just before Cohasset. Mileage is 84 miles.
June 30
Day 26: Cohasset Minnesota on Rt 2 west to Bemidji and camping at KOA on the lake. Go into town and then take a right on Rt 197 to the lake. Mileage is 80 miles.
July 1
Day 27: Bemidji Minnesota on Rt 2 west to Crookston where you may have to motel it. Mileage is 88 miles.
July 2
Day 28: Crookston Minnesota on Rt 2 west through Grand Forks North Dakota to Turtle River State Park North Dakota just west of Grand Forks. Mileage is 52 miles.
July 3
Day 29: Turtle River State Park west on Rt 2 to Devil’s Lake then go south on Rt 20 and then west on Rt 57. Camping at Devil’s Lake. Mileage is 77 miles.
July 4
Day 30: Devil’s Lake on Rt 57 west to jcn of Rt 281 and south on 281 to Carrington North Dakota. May have to do motel. Mileage 50 miles.
July 5
Day 31: Carrington North Dakota on Rt 52 west into Rt 200 west to Rt 41 to Turtle Lake. Go to Turtle Lake 2 miles to the campground. Mileage is 90 miles.
July 6
Day 32: Turtle Lake Campground south on Rt 41 back to Rt 200 west to Rt 83 south to Bismarck North Dakota. Mileage 72 miles.
July 7
Day 33: Bismarck North Dakota back up north on Rt 83 to Rt 200 west. West on Rt 200 to Hazen North Dakota. Camping at Lake Sakakawea State Park. Take a left on CR 27 in Hazen. Then go left on 7th street NW. Then go right on 2nd Ave NW. Mileage is 75 miles.
July 8
Day 34: Hazen Norh Dakota west on Rt 200 to Rt 85 north to Grassy Butte North Dakota. Camping in Grassy Butte. Mileage is 85 miles.
July 9
Day 35: Grassy Butte North Dakota north on Rt 85 up to jcn with Rt 2. Go east to Williston North Dakota for camping or motel. Mileage is 75 miles.
July 10
Day 36: Williston North Dakota west on Rt 2 into Montana and continue to just east of Wolf Point Montana from camping at RBW Campground off of Rt 2. Mileage is 100 miles.
July 11
Day 37: RBW Campground east of Wolf Point Montana on Rt 2 west to just west of Glasgow to Trails West Campground off of Rt 2. Mileage is 54 miles.
July 12
Day 38: Trails West Campground on Rt 2 west to Malta Montana. Camping at Edgewater Inn and RV park in downtown Malta. Mileage 85 miles.
July 13
Day 39: Malta Montana west on Rt 2 to Chinook Montana to stay at campground or motel. Mileage is 71 miles.
July 14
Day 40: Chinook Montana west on Rt 2 to Chester Montana where motel looks like only option. Mileage is 85 miles.
July 15
Day 41: Chester Montana on Rt 2 west to Cut Bank Montana to the Riverview Campground on 401 4th Ave SW. Mileage is 70 miles.
July 16
Day 42: Cut Bank Montana west on Rt 2 to West Glacier National Park to Devil’s Creek Campground. Mileage is 68 miles.
